The objective of this contract is as follows:
The Project involves the redevelopment/redesign and deployment of a new version of the
CARPHA’s Native mobile app/game Zap-a-‘quito including Admin area Backend database (server). The new version should be: (i) educative so users can learn about Insect Vector Control; (ii) durable so users would be drawn to play the game over a longer period of time, and (iii) entertaining so that users enjoy learning while gaming.
The consultant is also required to develop the infrastructure to capture data to assess the effectiveness of the mobile app in enhancing knowledge and influencing attitudes and
behaviours in the prevention and control of mosquitoes using the USAID Zika Prevention Behaviour Matrix. (Annex1).
