Global Water Partnership-Caribbean (GWP-C) is a working partnership among all stakeholders in water management within the Caribbean region and was formally launched in Tobago in June 2004. It is the Caribbean affiliate of the Global Water Partnership (GWP) Regional Water Partnerships, a network of partners all working toward 'A Water Secure World.'
Our Mission:
GWP-C is dedicated to supporting Caribbean countries in the sustainable management of their water resources through the establishment of strategic alliances and the implementation of the appropriate actions. GWP-C is fully committed to promoting and applying the concept of an Integrated Water Resources Management (IWRM) approach at the community, national and regional level.
GWP-C continually strives to improve water governance in the Caribbean region and has partners in the following territories: Anguilla, Aruba, Bahamas, Barbados, British Virgin Islands, Cuba, Dominica, Dominican Republic, Grenada, Guyana, Haiti , Jamaica, Martinique, Montserrat, Puerto Rico, St. Kitts, St. Lucia, St. Vincent, Suriname, Trinidad and Tobago.
