It monitors environmental health through laboratory services providing:

  • Water quality testing – potable, recreational, wastewater, bottled water, coastal water
  • Heavy metal and pesticide residue testing – soil, water, raw materials and processed food products
  • Food products testing
  • Indoor air quality assessments

This function also provides testing to assess the quality of pharmaceutical products in the Region, including:
