The People’s Republic of China has stepped in once more to support the Caribbean Region in its fight against COVID-19. CARPHA Partners with Le Groupe – Conseil Baastel to Institutionalise Results-Based Management at the Agency

The Caribbean Community (CARICOM) Secretariat, with the support of the Caribbean Development Bank (CDB), developed and implemented the CARICOM Results-Based Management (RBM) System based on the Community Strategic Plan 2015-2019. The CARICOM RBM System was developed to serve as a mechanism to engender a more results-oriented culture within the Region.

CARPHA Strengthens Its COVID-19 Testing Capacity with Japan Donation

Thanks to a bilateral cooperation program, the Japan-CARICOM Friendship and Cooperation Fund, the CARPHA Medical Microbiology Laboratory (CMML) received twenty-three (23) Viral RNA Test Kits valued at US$43,411 which are expected to conduct approximately 5,750 tests. The laboratory supplies will go a long way in supporting CARPHA’s capacity to test for COVID-19.
