The unit will be working with local and international partners and stakeholders to evaluate the feasibility of application of new vector control methods such as Wolbachia and Sterile Insect Technology (SIT) within the Caribbean Region. Other more established technologies being considered for larger scale roll out in the Caribbean include, Bacillus Thuringiensis Israelensis (BTi), and In2Care Mosquito Traps.
